our little one

This little one just seems to be opening and blooming bigger and brighter!
Man how we love her.   Her strength and determination, wowzer it is one of the many things I love about this girl.  She and I started taking a music class together and each Tuesday she is so excited to go.  We will come home and often get right to work practicing and doing her 'homework'. I love watching my little women grow in skills and confidence.

Our little Blue Eyes and I roll together every day, her and I just kick it. We kick it at Music class and swimming. Big sister is definitely missed during the day but there is something to say about not having to share toys ;)  hahaha

This girl likes to create and dress up, she brings a smile to our faces with her style. Love her!

our school girl

A month into school and there have been smiles as well as tears, growing up is hard stuff.

This little woman is a gal who works hard at everything she does!  She is a happy morning person and has been diligent in practicing her violin every morning.  She makes up her practice charts (numeracy practice :) and then checks them off each day.  It makes me super proud of her.

School is well, school both fun and hard work.  The realization that school is a full day is hard stuff.  Miss Amelia's teacher is great, getting to know her through volunteering has been good.  Amelia has some gems in her class, some friends from church in her class and school, she is a very lucky girl! I am grateful for the opportunity to drive and pick her up from school, to blow goodbye kisses and greet her with hugs.  The image below was taken because I am taking a photography class, I was trying to capture {movement} and I LOVE the movement and her smile. This was after school as Stella and I picked her up.

clinging to family movie night

All of my peeps were wearing orange and Mr. P would probably say that is because orange and blue are the best colours ever! (YES that would be because the Oilers colours are blue and orange :)  Love a good family movie night with my favourites.

the cuteness

This whole day school stuff has definitely been an adjustment to our family.  The other morning while I was making breakfast the ladies asked if they could watch a show on the iPad and I obliged. They curled up together and it was the cutest thing!  I love that I was able to capture this moment of togetherness. Oh and have I mentioned that they now fight, about anything and everything!!! The cuteness of the picture has a polar opposite and it is not fun. I actually feel like a broken record refereeing and modeling conflict resolution hahaha  All the more reason to treasure the cute moments.

This happened a little later in the morning...
Amelia took Stella's hand and took her to play with school friends while waiting for the bell to ring. Need to try to cherish the cuteness because the non cuteness can make a momma crazy.

driveway divas

Our after school time is now precious, it sounds silly but it really is. When Mia gets home from school there is a small window between dinner, bath and bed. We are also taking in every beautiful day and be outside because we know the snow is coming.   Stella is pretty awesome on the scooter and Mia is rocking her bike this year...they have both grown exponentially in their skills, it is pretty rad to watch that as a parent.

Luckily our driveway is pretty long so the ladies just bike or scoot around on it.  When we want to take a little trip we venture to the mail box.  These divas are enjoying it while they can.

a little time with the little one

Change is inevitable and this fall has been a big change.  Amelia is at school all day and it is just the little one and I at home taking care of business.   Boy oh boy do we miss big sister.  It is been pretty special though to have one on one time with Stella.  She has totally bloomed and I love being the one by her side each day watching.

Hinko Family Pictures

A few weeks back our family gathered and we did some pictures. Although it always crazy, it is always worth it!!! It makes my heart happy to see most of the people I love gathered together. The kids did pretty well and I am so pleased with the photos my sweet friend Kristi was able to capture.

You simply must allow for the sillies to be expelled mid photo shoot :)

This is one of my favourites above and one of my other favourites below.
Doing a 'Grumpy Grandpa' face picture is kinda becoming tradition hahaha Perhaps my dad should take a hint ahahaha. He is actually a softie but does kinda have a gruff exterior.

Our Family, One Tent Away From Being A Full-Blown Circus | The House of Beccaria~:
This quote I found on Pinterest the other day is hilarious because my dad always calls us 'his circus'.  It is honestly a term of endearment! He loves when we are all together, we all love when we are all together. Being together is always crazy yet so good.  I really feel wonderful family time is just a glimpse of the joy that awaits us in heaven and is absolutely the joy that was intended for us to have with our family here on earth.  No one is perfect but we are all striving together to be better people and work towards our goals.  My parents have always been my greatest cheerleaders and confidants, they continue in those roles, I just have Graham to add to that list now.  The siblings are pretty much the people in life who will ALWAYS have your back.  Even though each of us is different there is no doubt that our love means we always support!
Pretty grateful for these peeps.
