showing LOVE

A preface - Mr. P and I do fight sometimes.  We are not perfect BUT we always keep trying.

These sweet smelling flowers were not because we had a fight nor is it our anniversary or my birthday.  The dude is just awesome at showing love to his ladies!   He is a good one.  Sometimes he will just arrive home with flowers for me and this time he brought each of our little ladies their own too.  It was so kind, so sweet.  The girls had flowers that they each put in vases in their own rooms and Graham had picked a bouquet that matches the orange fall decor I have out right now.  I love fresh flowers and think they add a special touch to the mantle, buffet or table.
LOVE THEM and totally LOVE HIM!

I am also to grateful that the girls have a daddy who is teaching them how they deserve to be treated.  That relationship is sooooo important and he works at it, with each of them.  There are some sweet moments in life, when Mr. P came in with flowers for us all that was a good moment and man am I grateful for our little crew.

sick day turned science day

So our big girl has a cold and seemed sadly out of it this morning but as the day rolled on, she was tons better. We changed out of pj's and decided to have a little fun with soap. It proved so great and I just love when you try something and it rocks!!!! We will definitely be doing this again.

General Conference 2015

Conference weekend has really become a weekend full of traditions and the girls look forward to it, this makes me so happy.  We have a bunch of conference candy and do some colouring.   The girls will watch a bit or play around us and even if they are just excited about the weekend because of the candy and the special things we do, I am thrilled.  I hope they grow to love listening to the prophet.  What a great weekend to get all pumped up and inspired!

There was a great talk on Motherhood and I pretty much cried through the whole talk.

Behold Thy Mother

By Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

No love in mortality comes closer to approximating the pure love of Jesus Christ than the selfless love a devoted mother has for her child.

Being a mother is the best thing that has ever happened in my life, it also the most challenging. Mothering has sweet, tender moments but can have stretches of thankless, repetitive service.  This talk reminded me of the importance of my role. It was a good one!

puppy sitting Radio

Grandpa Ed is in Europe and asked if we could puppy sit.  Radio is a sweet old guy and has fit right in.  The girls LOVE him and he is really darling.   Aside from his shedding, he is a gem.

Lots of love for the guy xoxoxo

He finds the cutest places to curl up for naps. The blanket basket and the laundry basket (full of clean laundry) have been a few of the places he has nestled into. He is a cutie.

biking beauties part II

It is October 1st and we are biking, for reals!
The weather has been gorgeous this week.

They asked to go biking and I said yes because of course  we totally need to enjoy the weather while we can.  Stella has also been rocking her bike lately, the whole summer she has preferred using her scooter but recently her bike has been the top choice when we go hit the trail behind her house.

Amelia has such crazy stamina compared to last year, I am loving watching these women grow in ability.  Man oh man being a momma is so glorious.  Looking at these girlies my heart is bursting, seriously so blessed!!!

our little one

This little one just seems to be opening and blooming bigger and brighter!
Man how we love her.   Her strength and determination, wowzer it is one of the many things I love about this girl.  She and I started taking a music class together and each Tuesday she is so excited to go.  We will come home and often get right to work practicing and doing her 'homework'. I love watching my little women grow in skills and confidence.

Our little Blue Eyes and I roll together every day, her and I just kick it. We kick it at Music class and swimming. Big sister is definitely missed during the day but there is something to say about not having to share toys ;)  hahaha

This girl likes to create and dress up, she brings a smile to our faces with her style. Love her!

our school girl

A month into school and there have been smiles as well as tears, growing up is hard stuff.

This little woman is a gal who works hard at everything she does!  She is a happy morning person and has been diligent in practicing her violin every morning.  She makes up her practice charts (numeracy practice :) and then checks them off each day.  It makes me super proud of her.

School is well, school both fun and hard work.  The realization that school is a full day is hard stuff.  Miss Amelia's teacher is great, getting to know her through volunteering has been good.  Amelia has some gems in her class, some friends from church in her class and school, she is a very lucky girl! I am grateful for the opportunity to drive and pick her up from school, to blow goodbye kisses and greet her with hugs.  The image below was taken because I am taking a photography class, I was trying to capture {movement} and I LOVE the movement and her smile. This was after school as Stella and I picked her up.
